John Hubbell

John Hubbell has been self-employed in entrepreneurial ventures since 1973. John has had two overlapping careers for most of his working life, one of sport and wellness, and one of venture capital. John has participated in competitive sport for the past 60 years with his highest achievement being an Olympic competitor in 1972. John still is an active age group, competitive athlete. His business career started in 1974, owning his manufacturing concern and now runs a family office Hubbell Ventures Limited (Jersey CI) that has investments in Canada, the UK and Jersey.

John has been a specialist in the consulting, development and investment in small to medium size
businesses.

John is a proud University of Toronto Alumni and was introduced to HealthEdge Innovation by the Advancement and the Innovation and Entrepreneur departments of UofT. John is a mentor to, and Hubbell Ventures Limited is an investor in HealthEdge Innovations Inc. John’s health investments are now focused around HealthEdge Innovation’s Octad commercialization validation and verification platform.
